The Academic Affairs Committee Chair is responsible for overseeing all matters pertaining to Academic Affairs that are brought before the Student Senate. In addition to chairing the Academic Affairs Committee, the Academic Affairs Committee Chair attends the meetings of the Faculty Senate and acts as the liaison between the Faculty Senate and the Student Senate. He or she serves as the student representative to the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees.

Fall 2011 Summary (submitted by Amanda Laurent)

AA went very well this semester. We met every other week and discussed issues in each individual school. With all of the strong representatives elected this year we work very well together, helping each other through specific issues. We ended the semester having one-on-ones between each Senator and myself. In these meetings we looked at how this semester went and then looked forward to next semester.
