The Student Services Committee Chair is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of all programs and initiatives referred to the Student Services Committee by the Campus Advancement Committee or the Student Senate.

Fall 2011 Summary (submitted by 2011-2012 Student Services Senator, Nate Bleadorn)

This semester in the Student Services Committee we assigned students to some campus committees. These include the library student consulting committee as well as the Sodexo Student Board of Directors. The members of these committees report back to the group and then the larger senate after their meetings.

Additionally, we are reviewing other options to improve student services. We were a part of the planning process for the upcoming grand opening of the new fitness center in lower Olmsted. We are in the process of tabulating results from a survey about the DART Bus usage by Drake students as they prepare to open a new route.
