College of Arts and Sciences Senator

Emily Anderson

Hello everyone! My name is Emily Anderson and I am a senior studying Environmental Science: Conservation with a minor in Biology from Eagan, Minnesota.

This will be my first year on Senate and I am thrilled to be a part of the 31st Session. As the College of Arts & Sciences Senator, I hope to foster a better understanding of the people and departments within our college. We are the largest college at Drake and this provides us a great opportunity to learn about other majors and interests!

I also intend to act as a liaison for you as students to voice concerns and comments to the administration. This is the main reason I wanted to be on Senate because I believe student input is important and necessary for greater development!

In addition to being on Student Senate, a few other things I am a Student Ambassador and a Resident Assistant. I am also a member of Alpha Phi Omega, which is a service fraternity that serves Drake and the greater community.

I will always be available during my office hours, but also feel free to contact me through the Arts & Sciences Facebook page or email me:
